And then someone else, I think lived there and I can't remember who, but my Dad worked for him and then my Dad became GM at the Filer City mill.

thanks again
That picture would be nice, thanks alot. In fact, I've enjoyed the photographs and the video on the site. The video of hurricane ike in manistee is ironic. Been through a couple hurricanes here in Houston but Ike was the worst. Lived a few houses from and grew up with the Kowalski's as did my brother and sisters. Last time I was up there they had just moved into the mansion and were renovating, so that's a long time.
Hello Homer, you’re right it has been a long time. Nope not my truck but it would be fun to own something like that. Sounds like things are good with you. Everything is good with me, still playing hockey three more classes till I graduate from WSCC then no clue what is next. Ben
I agree with you about being spoiled with all that nice weather. I was working out in the yard half naked and grossing out the neighbors. I think it is my fishing partner's fault for the cold weather as he just came back from a vacation down in Georgia. But give it a couple of weeks and I will be starting to plant my garden. The onion sets that I planted a couple of weeks ago are starting to come up. The Weather Channel just said 52 degrees today so it is starting to get nice again.Last day of April today so happy May to you.
Homer, I am afraid that I may be to blame for the return back to colder temps...for we just started MRA soccer!! However, it was only a couple months ago when we may have considered 40 degrees to be a little heat wave!! I got very spoiled by those warmer days...I think we all did!
Hi Sandy. I like your pictures, also. I think we started the concession a little early. I guess it will be warming up by the end of the week. The Weather Channel just said 60 degrees on Thursday. I hope Spring will he here to stay.
Hi Homer! Nice photos! I'll be seeing you & the crew soon at the concession stand in the mornings when I am walking Gracie (or is it Gracie walking me???). -Sandy Saylor
